Our Story
Axis Chiropractic & Massage Clinic was founded to create something different: a place where patients feel supported, understood, and truly cared for after an auto accident. In 1988, when Mariana was pregnant with Annelyn, a serious accident gave her firsthand insight into the pain and impact an auto accident can have on a family. Years later, Mariana began working in a clinic, helping patients navigate the often-overwhelming process of auto injury recovery. In 2015, Annelyn encouraged her to open a clinic, and together they built Axis with a vision of compassion, excellence, and personalized care. On April 19, 2017, Axis Chiropractic & Massage Clinic officially opened its doors. Mariana has since retired.

The name “Axis” is inspired by the axis vertebra in the upper spine, which plays a key role in movement and stability—especially in the neck. Because many auto accident injuries involve the cervical spine, the name reflects our focus on restoring proper alignment, movement, and function as part of the recovery process.
